Adrià Plana
He was born in Vic (Barcelona) in 1989. He picks up the guitar at age of 10 and at 12 began to study music at the Conservatory of Modern Music in Vic. In June 2007 he completed graduate studies and June 2011 he obtains the title of jazz guitar at the Music School of Catalonia (ESMuC), where he studied with Daniel Perez, John Monné, David Xirgu and Eladio Reinón, among others. He has attended master classes of teachers Ben Monder, Peter Bernstein and Jorge Rossy. He worked with Dick Oatts in Big Bands and Bob Sands as directors, and with the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National (OBC) with director Rachel Worby.
He has played in international jazz festivals in Barcelona, Vic, Banyoles and Reus.
He has played with musicians like David Xirgu, Eladio Reinón, Miguel Fernandez and formed part of the orchestra of the musical Chicago in Barcelona.

Marçal Ayats
Born in 1984 in Vic, from a child shows interest in music and began studying cello. Study at the School of Music with Vic Albert Bardolet and then ends the licensor
ESMuC Prestalozzi with Cristoforo. Despite a degree in classical and contemporary interpretation, has always been open to any genre and artistic discipline. Thus, participated in orchestras of all levels, in chamber groups in contemporary dance, in theater, in music, in groups of folk, pop, funk, … that have led to act across Spain, Switzerland, Great Britain and Italy.
In the field of classical music, has won several national awards in the specialty of chamber music and has participated in festivals such as Perelada. He has worked with renowned musicians such Marçal Cervera, Charles Tunell, Roel Dieltens, Christopher Hogwood and the Casals Quartet. In 2010 came the culmination of his career performing as a solo concert for Cello and Orchestra in C Major FJHaydn with the Chamber Orchestra of Vic and Jorge Mora as a director. In the more modern side, part of the group Joan Serrat, ViolinaFolk and Jazz Chamber Ensemble, and has collaborated on recordings by such diverse groups as Raul Reverter Quartet, Selective Memory and Thanks for Coming. It is also a composer and musician and actor of theater T’en fais pas! Vienna to Montparnasse.
As a teacher, has extensive experience in music schools and conservatories and is Professor of Cello Encounter is done annually in the province of Girona.

Toni Serrat
He was born in Vic in 1979 and his passion for the drums stars at very young age so he begins to listening to records and hitting all kinds of gadgets. He takes lessons from diferent teachers of the city as Santi Serratosa. Toni Studies modern music at the center Passatge of Barcelona, where he studied drums with Tony Pagès. He also takes lessons with Marc Miralta, Quim Soler, Enildo Rasúa, Xavi Reija, Ramón Ángel Rey, Marko Djordjecvic. In 2004 he travels to New York City for a short period of time where he receives lessons from Ernest Simpson and Jeff Ballard. Currenty he studies at Esem-tm in Barcelona with drummer Marko Djorjevic. Toni Serrat also studies classical Indian Tabla: in 2003 he began to take lessons with Tapan Kumar Bhattacharya from Benares school and he travels to Calcutta (India) to study tabla intensively for 3 months. He also received master classes from Pandit Shankar Gosh, Tarun Bhattacharya. He has been part and has collaborated with different and varied jazz ensembles, jazz-fusion jazz / rock, rock, such as Mountain Jazz Quartet, Groove Elastic, Ebbandflow, Stick in Trio, Metropol, Paparazzi … and several singer-songwriters like Quim Vila, Dani Galiot, Joseph Thió, Monica Mey. Right now he is envolved in his personal project called Baraka Project that he began in 2005 and he is the drummer of Joan Serrat. He also teaches at various schools from Osona and Vallès.

Carla Serrat
She was born in Vic in December of 1990. Because of her family tradition she gets interested in music since early childhood. At the age of 6 she starts to study singing and piano at the Music School. At 12 she leaves the classical school to learn music by herself. Years later she begins art in high school and gets the degree in illustration. At 17 starts her first musical compositions and do first musical collaboration on J.S.T. album debut Liffey, which also worked doing the drawings and design. She also starts as vocal singer with other groups from Osona like “Men In Black” and “La Iaia”. At 18 she began his musical career with her first concerts playing solo and soon after accompanied by the drummer Toni Serrat.
She continues her training of illustrator getting enrolled in a Master aboutn illustration for children and a post degree in painting. This passion for drawing tmakes her repeating the experience of doing the design and drawings from the album The Relief Sessions.

Marc Parareda
He was born in Centelles in1983. He grows up surrounded by music and at the age of 12 he gets interested in guitar. He first receives classical guitar lessons at the School of Music of Centelles but soon begins to combine classical guitar lessons with electric guitar. The more he studies the more he gets interested in sound so at the age of 16 after playing with group of music Essence he records two albums. He studies telecommunications and specializes in image and sound at a time that works in direct sound technician. He also plays with the banda Ebbanflow and during this time starts studying his second instrument the stick which it plays in the trio Baraka Project. By this time he decides to create Baraka Studios to record the Baraka Project. Several groups record their album in Baraka Studios: The Funkysteps & The Sey sisters, Bonobos & Cia, Els Catarres, Strombers, MP4, among others. Finally Joana Serrat start working to record and produce, first Hit The Pavement and The Relief Sessions.
